I’ve been so busy with my affiliate website training and sites that I have neglected my art. My daughter, Jennifer, has been doing some painting and drawing herself and when I visited her recently at Thanksgiving, I watched her paint and draw and felt the urge to draw coming upon me.
So when I got back home and saw Udemy’s drawing courses were on sale for Cyber Monday, I purchased a few new drawing courses at $9.99. A great deal. Continue reading
Little Craft Show – 2018I found out today about the 2018 Little Craft Show in downtown Springdale on Saturday May 12th, 2018.
There will be arts, crafts, and food.
Admission is free and the hours are 10am to 6pm.
I’m planning on attending this year. I’ll be back with a review of my trip after Sunday
Recently I’ve been interested my photography, especially bird photography. Mel and have are inundated with birds on our many feeders. We have several on our deck and some out front too. I watch a couple right outside my office window. I love watching the pair of bluebirds who are nesting in our bluebird box out front. I can’t wait for the babies to hatch and I can photograph them.
I also have a hummingbird feeder I can watch from my office window and there is a precious little hummer that has been visiting.

I’m loving today. Today I’m painting mini abstract landscapes for an ATC (Artist Trading Card) swap event.
I’m a member of a Facebook Group called Artist Trading Card Addicts and several of us are creating our version of an abstract landscape. I’m using my acrylics to create mine. Painting a Landscape this small (2.5×3.5 inches) is quite a challenge and its a good thing its abstract, as fine details are very hard at this size. Also my OTT lamp is stored in the basement right now and I can’t get it out until tomorrow when my dh can do it. Being in this wheelchair is definitely a hassle sometimes.
Tomorrow I will post my version shown below to the Event page and hopefully someone will want to swap with me. That someone can be anywhere in the world.

Today, I’ve mostly rested from my long weekend. I traveled to my home town of White Hall, AR to man a booth at a local arts and craft show. There were three of us at our booth: my artist friends Gerry Delongchamp and Richard Davies. It was a slow day, with a limited crowd because of several conflicts in the neighborhood. However, I did enjoy catching up with what my friends were doing. I also was able to create a few ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) for the Holiday Event hosted by my favorite secret ATC Facebook Group (Artist Trading Card Addicts). I’m creating 9 cards to swap with a lady who lives in Athins, Greece. Each of these cards must have a holiday theme and be a standard sized ATC. Continue reading
Today I was going to get so much done in the art arena, but now it is almost 8pm and did I get it done? Not at all.
I spent most of the day working on a problem with one of my customer websites and as happens a lot, waiting on someone else for information before I can fix the problem. Continue reading
